The Provision and Application of Salvation

1. Incarnation
Christ is fully God and fully man.
John 1:1, John 1:14
Christ was born of a virgin.
Isaiah 7:14, Lk. 1:26-38
Christ descended from the line of David.
Luke 2:4, Matt. 1:1
2. Death
Christ poured out Himself unto death on a cross.
Phil. 2:8, Is. 53:12
Christ's body was wrapped in linen cloth and was placed in a tomb.
Matt. 27:59-60
Christ's death on the cross was in accordance to God's purpose.
Acts 2:23, Eph. 3:11
Christ, after being crucified, was raised to life on the third day He was buried.
Luke 24:7, Matt. 27:62-64, Mark 16:6
Christ appeared to more than 500 Jews at one time.
1 Corinthians 15:6
It was God who raised Christ from the dead.

4. Ascension
Jesus ascended bodily into heaven after giving instructions to His apostles, showing proofs that He is alive and speaking about the Kingdom of God.

Upon His ascension, Jesus sat down at the right hand of God.
Heb. 10:12, Psalm 110:1, Mark 16:19

1. Election
Before the foundation of the world God has already planned to adopt us as His sons through Christ.
Eph. 1:4-5, 2 Tim. 1:9

God created the elect in Christ Jesus  for the purpose in advance for them to do.
Eph. 2:10, Eph. 1:11
Those who were appointed for eternal life and whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life will believe and come to Christ.
Acts 13:48, Rev. 20:15, Jn. 6:37

Being made a new creature by the Spirit's power is necessary to the see the Kingdom of God.
Jn. 3:3, Jn. 3:7

It is God Himself who causes quickening to occur to the elect.
Jn. 1:13, Eph. 2:5, Col. 2:13
Along with the Holy Spirit, God uses His Word as an agent of regeneration.
1 Pet. 1:23, Jam 1:18, Gal. 3:2

3. Justification
God counts righteous those who put their faith in Christ.
Rom. 5:1, Gal. 2:16, Rom. 3:22a

Declaring that the soul who sins must die yet aware of the fact that man is unable to fulfill the law due to his sinful nature, God sent His Son to receive the condemnation due sinners that the believing may be rendered righteous in His sight.
Ez. 18:4, Rom. 8:3-4, 2 Cor. 5:21
Faith, not the works of the law, is the only condition God demands upon bestowing justification.
Gal. 2:16, Rom. 4:5

4. Glorification
The believers will experience the completion of the salvation process--the redemption of their bodies.
Rom. 8:23, Rom. 8:30

The elect, upon their resurrection, will bear the likeness of Christ and will possess a spiritual and incorruptible body.
1 Cor. 15:49, 1 Jn. 3:2, 1 Cor. 15:42-44,
God apportioned the elect as co-heirs with Christ, assigned to share in His glory to be revealed in the future.
