Gospel 101

JUSTIFICATION: all the demands of justice have already been met for the sinner by the Redeemer.

Any option other than Jesus is less than the best

Why choose misery over Jesus? Having seen His glory, why settle for less? When we were under sin we’ve got no option but to wallow in sorrow and be overcome by ‘death.’ We took refuge in gods who couldn’t save us.

Now that He has opened our eyes, we’ve got the power to choose LIFE. It would please him if we would believe that He has carried all our griefs. :D

“You didn’t choose me but I chose you…”

 John 15:16
... a sinner in constant friction with the Holy ; one who delights in evil, powerless to do what is good; feet rushing into sin, with heart, mind and will consistently rebelling against the King…
…appointed to hear the gospel, that he might believe the Son, bear fruit thus bring glory to the Father.

Such Love

“So I have loved you…” John 15:9
Connects the temporary to the Eternal
                                     The undeserving to the Holy
                                           The clay to the Potter
                                               The ragged to the King
                                                     The poor to the Creator

Today's Realization

You’ve given me Your Son
Is there anything You couldn't provide?
You’ve raised me to life
Is there anything too hard for You to do?

Sovereignty 101 ♥

Burying myself in this topic I remembered my childhood days where unknowingly had I applied this in a letter written to my parents. Talk about election! Never did I think that I had understood this in my early age.

When I was in grade one (7 y.o.), my teacher told us to write a letter to our parents. I wrote to them, thanking God for choosing them to be my father and mother over millions of parents in the world. There in the letter i had also included Adam and Eve but I couldn't remember its connection with the whole stuff.

the good news of salvation purchased by the Lord Jesus Christ to reconcile sinful men to a holy God ♥
